With Christmas around the corner, there seems to be a little more excitement in the air. What an amazing time of year! Until the break, though, we do have some math to get through.

The Pre-Calculus students are working on trigonometric identities, and have been dealing with trigonometry for a quite some time now. Meanwhile the Algebra 2 students are continually learning about solving for two unknowns given two equations. In Calculus, we've looked at the derivative and what it means, and today we learned about the application of the second derivative. The last high school math class, Algebra 1, is working on finding consecutive integers. The middle school math classes are working on circles, story problems, divisibility tests, and much more.

All in all things seem to be moving along nicely, and I think the break ahead is giving the kids extra motivation. Let's keep praying that positive attitudes continue. Thank you for being involved with our school, and I hope you have a Christ filled Christmas!
