With the play ending, we are back in the swing of things, for the high school. The middle school is in just beginning the first round of ISTEP testing, so their schedule won't return to normal until after this week. Some students are glad to have the regular schedule back, and some probably enjoyed being able to have play practice, but we're diving in anyway.

Pre-calculus - They're continuing to study conic sections. They just looked at hyperbolas, have already looked at circles & ellipses, and have yet to look at parabolas & degenerate conics.

Geometry - Areas is the name of the chapter for them. So the areas of triangles and other various quadrilaterals have already been studied. Now, they're looking at area story problems.

Geometry (Math U See) - They are looking at different triangle proofs.

Algebra I (Math U See) - For the past while, factoring has been the topic that has been covered. This week, it's factoring a difference of squares.

Most of the math classes jump around from topic to topic every day, so it's hard to say what exactly each class is studying. However, above are a few that go by chapters. I guess we'll just have to see where things go from here.
