The High School students are working hard on the play!!!  The name of it this year is THINGS CHANGE.  We have a large cast and so that makes for a longer play this year.  The theme is Gossip and how it can hurt others and also the importance of keeping healthy relationships with old friends.  We are looking for a few items if you happen to have any of these laying around the house.

voice recorder (one that you carry in your hand)

9/10 and 11/12 classes are following a schedule to keep up with work in class while we are practicing the play.  They have their assignments/due dates/etc. written down weekly.  It tells what stories to read, questions to answer and when they are due.  The Juniors are still reading To Kill a Mockingbird and working on study guides that go along with the book.

Health is also on the daily schedule.  We are studying (Chapter 2) Maintaining Personal Health  This includes such topics as: Cardiorespiratory fitness, Musculoskeletal Health, Exercise and Fitness and Personal Hygiene.  We have new health books this year and they have very current and exciting information in them.

The middle school have a test tomorrow Feb.11th on Verbals.  We then move on to Subject-Verb agreement. We are finishing the unit Our Land in Literature and will start readings on the subject of Humility next.  Always a good subject for all of us to think about and apply.
