The Savior was...
scoffed by the disciples
scorned by the crowd
stripped of His clothes, given a 
scarlet robe
spit upon
scourged by whips
smote with a reed
stuck with thorns, given a 
sign saying "King of Jews"
stabbed in the side
slaughtered on the cross,
sin covered,
slain to save sinners, and 
shunned by God.
