In U.S. History, we began studying the 20th century! From Teddy Roosevelt to Woodrow Wilson and World War I to the sinking of the Titanic and the assembly line started by Henry Ford, there is always so much to learn!
Mr. Kipfer has moved onto the teachings of the early church and the Reformers. We broke into groups and studied and discussed these topics.
In M.S. Science, we have began studying our final chapter in the book: Creation vs. Evolution. There has been some interesting discussion as well as watching some Ken Ham and Ray Comfort. Next week, we move onto our Health book!
In Economics, the students have been doing a great job in class discussion. We also have been adding a YouTube teaching series in with our curriculum. We will have Tim Drayer coming in to teach the class and share his experiences in a few weeks.
In Chemistry, we are studying solutions. We have learned from an atomic perspective why salt on the Indiana winter roads lowers the freezing point of water.
In Physics, we have been studying waves which includes sound waves and light waves. Not only did we study the mathematical equations, but also the theories of how light moves.
