It doesn't seem like a month since the last update does it? We finished up the chapters that geometry and pre-calculus were working in. The Small Gas Engines class didn't get very far on the tiller, but they did manage to get a space heater for the detached garage that they are working in. Otherwise, the kids finished out 2016 strong with positive attitudes. Using substitution to solve for two unknowns in two equations, simplifying radicals, single variable analysis, box and whisker plots, logarithms, solving two step equations, area & circumference of a circle, symbols of inclusion, and classifying triangles are only a few of the many topics covered in the math classes before Christmas.
