The 9th/10th grade English class will be starting the unit "Point of View" where we will be reading stories from different outlooks. We are also going to be writing a event and then writing it again from a different point of view. We are starting the play and we will be working on it two days a week until the lines are memorized and then we will go to three days.
11th grade English class is starting the book "The Ghost Boy". It is a story about a boy who had what they thought was meningitis and was in a coma...he was trapped inside his body for several years before the doctors realized he was understanding what was going on around him. It is a story of incredible faith and humble spirit of a man. They will be writing reflection papers and doing a study along with the book.
Middle School will be starting a new unit in Grammar on Capitalization and are continuing their story about the French Revolution in literature. We are going to continue to do special projects on Wednesday with Cindy Lemmen.
