Ready to be back in school for the second semester!!

In 9/10th grade English the students have been writing short stories.  Some wrote on mysteries and others wrote on special places they like to visit.  We are finishing up the unit Biography and will be getting ready for Short Fiction.

11th grade English finished their unit on "The American Dream" and wrote an essay on what their idea of the American Dream was.

Speech Class is over for the semester, we had some really interesting speeches this year.  I felt like the kids really worked hard and gave some very informative speeches.  We now will start Health.  Over the summer we ordered new curriculum so we have the most current and update material!!

The middle school students are finishing up their Unit on Generosity and will be taking a test this week.  They each wrote an essay on a time when they were generous or someone was generous to them.  I have loved this unit and really enjoyed the essays that were written.
In Grammar we are starting Troublesome Words...how to use them correctly.
